As the outdoor season draws to a close and Registration gets into high gear for the 2011/12 Indoor Season, I would like to inform you of the NSD Soccer Club's continued commitment to develop a comprehensive and transparent evaluation process.

Troye Flannery and I (Shaun Lowther) have continued to work diligently to ensure that the NSDSC Evaluation process is both transparent and fair. In consultation with a number of coaches at various levels throughout the Club, we have developed an evaluation process which we believe will address some issues that were highlights in the survey that was completed by some of you in the spring of 2010.I have been involved with many different Clubs over the years using different processes, and for the most part they have all received some negative feedback regardless of the process. Generally the negative feedback stems from a parent and /or child not being happy with the placement of the player, and not necessarily the process itself. With that being said , we recognize the importance of improving the current evaluation process, and we will make every effort to make sure that our lines of communication to our players, coaches, managers and parents regarding the Evaluation process are kept transparent.

To that end, this document comprehensively explains the NSD Soccer Club Evaluation protocol for the 2011/12 Indoor season. Please take the time to read the document to familiarize youself  with the process.

In addition to the Evaluation Protocol, the short notice in regard to Evaluation dates was also cited as a major issue. I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the Club’s general dates for evaluations at present. Please not the attached document for NSD Soccer Club Evaluations.
