Premier Division:
If you would like to Tryout for a NSDSC Premier Tier 1 team, you must fill out a NEW Tier 1 Tryout form

Tier I/II
  • Highest level of soccer in CMSA
  • 4 or 5 soccer events per week (for example: 2 practices, 1 game, 1 fitness session, 1 academy session)
  • Academy attendance mandatory U12-U16
  • Participation in elite, national and/or international tournaments
  • Fundraising commitment for tournaments
  • Season runs early May-mid Aug (outdoor), mid Oct-end Mar (indoor)
  • Season leads to Provincial/National Championships
Tier lll
  • Developmental division for talented, committed players
  • 4 soccer events per week (for example: 2 practices, 1 game, 1 academy session)
  • Academy is mandatory for U12-U14 Tier III players
  • Academy is not mandatory for U15/16 Tier III players but is highly recommended
  • Participation at tournaments
  • Some fundraising requirements for tournament participation
  • Season runs early May-end of July (outdoor), mid Oct-late March (indoor)
  • Season leads to Provincial Championships

Competitive Division:

Competitive A
  • High level of play
  • 2-3 soccer events per week (ie 1 practice, 1-2 games)
  • Academy optional
  • Possible participation at tournaments
  • Season runs end of April-mid/end of July (outdoor), late Oct-late March (indoor)
  • Season leads to Tier IV Provincials or Intercities
Competitive B
  • 2-3 soccer events per week (eg. 1 practice/1 game)
  • Academy optional
  • Season runs end of April-mid/end of June (outdoor), mid Oct-late March (indoor)

NSD 2008/2009 Indoor House League Programs

The NSD Soccer Club House League is a community based program focusing on the fun development of skills for players in a noncompetitive environment.

*** House League Update – October 9, 2008 ***
Orientation and equipment handout for coaches and assistants will be held October 18th from 3-5 at MidSun Community Center, 50 Midpark Rise. House League Play will start October 25,2008 for the U-4’s and October 26, 2008 for the U-6’s at the Mid-Sun Community Centre.

U-4

  • Program cost $140.00
  • Held at Midsun Community Association, 50 Midpark Rise S.E.
  • Gender mixed program
  • Players born 2005
  • Saturday mornings
  • Season runs October 25 – February 23rd.
  • Players require comfortable clothing, non marking shoes
  • T-shirt provided
  • 1 hour sessions, schedule TBA

U-6

  • Program cost $165.00
  • Held at Midsun Community Association, 50 Midpark Rise S.E.
  • Gender split program depending on number of registrants
  • Players born 2003 and 2004
  • Season runs October 26 - February 24
  • Session head coach on site every week for coach support
  • Players require black shorts, shin pads, non marking runners
  • T-shirt and socks provided
  • 1 hour sessions split between practice and game time
  • Schedule to be announced following registration

U-8

  • Program cost $250.00
  • 1 hour practices are community based, games played at Soccer Centers
  • Gender split program, no evaluations
  • Players born 2001 and 2002
  • Season runs October to March
  • 2-3 soccer events per week
  • Games scheduled by CMSA Saturday or Sunday
  • Players require black shorts, soccer shoes and shin pads
  • T-shirt and socks provided by club
  • NSD Academy available, user pay

Indoor Set Play Dates and Locations

U10 Tier A – Wednesday and Sunday
U10 Tier B – Monday and Saturday
U10 Tier C – Thursday and Sunday

U12 Comp A – Wednesday and Sunday
U12 Comp B – Tuesday and Saturday

U14 Comp A – Tuesday and Saturday
U14 Comp B - Wednesday and Sunday

U16’s will play at the CSC (Calgary Soccer Center) or CWSC (Calgary West Soccer Center), and the U8’s will play at the North East Sports Facility and the CWSC.
